Meet The Boys
No, we didn't adopt any young tykes, or even buy a couple of turtles. I was at the local Mitsuwa Market, and found these: Otokomae Tofu-ya. What's so special about them? They give their tofu male names and personalities!

This is kinda weird. I'm just glad they're not *shaped* like a man! Although, that would be kinda funny -- Tofu Man! Sounds like a superhero. But then what would his superpower be?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? It would be totally WEIRD if they were man shaped. Tofu Man...stronger than an edamame? I finally broke down and ate some of the tofu (Ryuichi - my oldest). The texture was like flan, except not sweet. I don't know if I'll get this again. It was just too weird. ~ Linda
